Traditional hand knit seaman's scarf and beanie hat set in 100% Merino Wool, hand-dyed Araucania Nature Wool in Teal Blue Shades. This is one of my favorite sets to make. It is soft and warm as only pure merino wool can be, beautifully stitched in seed stitch for approximately 22 inches, 1/1 ribbing for 23 inches and finishing with seed stitch for another 22 inches, for a total length of 70", excluding the 7" fringe. The hat is 20-21" in circumference and 8" in length.
This set is perfect for all family members and can be custom ordered in wool, acrylic or a mix, with the hat and scarf dimensions customized for the recipient. As with all custom orders a 25% deposit is required to cover the cost of materials. The price of a set is determined by materials used plus labor. Hand-dyed yarns are, of course, subject to availability.
Care for this set only: Hand wash in cold and lay flat to dry.
